Rotary Public School, Sector- 22 organized an Interdisciplinary Inter-School Competition, SAMVID 2.0, BALANCING THE INTELLECT, on the 22nd August 2023 that aimed to exhort simulation, assimilation, application of knowledge. There was participation of 400 students from 40 esteemed schools of Gurgaon in seven different Interdisciplinary and cross curricular events that aimed to empower students to apply critical thinking to real world contexts through integrative thinking processes and engage in immersive learning.
The opening ceremony commenced with lighting of the lamp by the Chairman School Managing Committee, P.P. Rtn. Paramjit Singh Oberoi, and the school Principal, Ms. Sandeepa Rai, followed by Saraswati Vandana. The Chief Guest of the day was Ms. Shipra Misra, M.D. and CEO of Delhi Research and Implementation and Innovation (DRIIV), a project of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India. In her address, she emphasized the significance of presenting quality work that was visible in the competition today. The Guest of Honour was Mr. Sunil Mansingh, a 1986 batch alumnus of the school, a senior journalist and columnist with The Times of India, an avid photographer, and an author. Mr. Sunil Mansingh in his speech highlighted the importance of a school in shaping and impacting an individual. A galaxy of eminent judges from distinguished fields were: Ms. Alisha, a fitness expert; Ms. Geeta Dhull, a Soft Skills & Personality Development Trainer; Mr. Stephen Nicholas Samuel, a corporate Quiz Master; Rtn. Chhavi Lath, an entrepreneur; Ms. Savita Gupta, an author; Ms. Ayushi Gupta, a Data Analyst; Mr. Karan Rao, Founder and CEO of Swachh; Ms. Ratna Adhana, an Instrumentalist and Indian Classical Dancer; Ms. Nazm Kaur, a Kathak dancer and accomplished Choreographer; Ms. Geeta Vashistha, a Founder of ‘Picartfusion LLP’; Ms. Harleen Gambhir, a Graphic Designer; Ms. Abhilasha Ahuja, a Business Manager at Amazon; Mr. Abhay Kaushal, the Founder of Social Media Marketing Agency. All together they brought a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. Their constructive feedback provided valuable insights to the participants, enhancing the overall learning experience.
The harmonious blend of the musical presentation enthused all.
The valedictory ceremony commenced with the school Rock band presentation followed by an energetic dance performance that added grandeur to the event. The prize distribution ceremony was awaited with the bated breath. The result was declared as following:

The Vote of Thanks was rendered by the Principal of the host school, Ms. Sandeepa Rai, who thanked all the guests and students for making the event a resounding success with their enthusiasm. The program culminated with the National Anthem.
