PRESS CONFERENCE ON THE THIRD ANNIVERSARY OF NEP2020

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office, Gurugram organised the press conference under the chairmanship of Mr. Varun Mitra, Deputy Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional office, Gurugram, on the Third Anniversary of the National Education Policy 2020 on 28th July 2023 at 11:30 am.
Various media persons were present in the press conference, along with Mr. T. Pritam Singh and Mr. Dildar Singh, Assistant Commissioners KVS (RO) Gurugram, Mr. RadhaKrishna Panwar, Principal, Jawahar Navodaya, Mr. J.P. Singh, Principal, K.V No.1 AFS, Mr. Karambeer Gill, Principal KV No.2 Sohna Road, Ms. Sucheta Kaushal, Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya NSG Manesar, Ms. Bharti Kumari Principal Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kadarpur , Ms. Sangeeta Singhal, Principal, Air Force School, etc.
Mr. Varun Mitra highlighted the goals of the National Education Policy 2020. He further added that the new education policy aims at identifying and developing the special abilities of each child, prioritizing basic literacy and numeracy (FLN), emphasizing the linguistic and language abilities , blinding up the Indian roots and pride, to develop critical thinking than rote learning,integration of global with local concept of self dependence- atma nirbhar etc.
According to the new education policy in the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, the new age of admission of students’ Standards were also highlighted and the information about the new school system 5+3+3+4 was given. Bal Vatika, E-classroom, Toy based education, Vidya Pravesh, are the new additionswhile implementing this policy. In this sequence, Deputy Commissioner told, on the third anniversary of the new education policy 2020, the dates 29 and 30 July 2023 will be called All India Teacher’s Conference Program I.T.P.O. Pragnat Maidan, New Delhi will be organised. On this occasion of the press conference, journalists were greeted by the Deputy Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office, Gurugram. Long posed questions answered and doubts resolved with great precision by the personnels of the Regional Office. In conclusion to this, Mr. T. Pritam Singh gave a vote of thanks to the journalists and guests who attended the conference.
